Sehr geehrte Gäste,
Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für das Gartenhotel Altmannsdorf entschieden haben. Wir freuen uns Sie hiermit begrüßen zu dürfen und erlauben uns eine kurze Vorstellung des Hotels und was Sie erwartet. Das Gartenhotel Altmannsdorf wurde im Jahr 2022 nach einer Kernsanierung neu eröffnet und zählt auf Grund der gut angebundenen Lage sowohl Geschäftsreisende als auch Städtetouristen zu seinen Gästen.

Alle Zimmer verfügen über eine Klimaanlage, eigenes Badezimmer, Toilette, SAT-TV und Föhn. Zusätzlich stehen Ihnen auch diverse Handtücher, sowie Hygieneprodukte kostenlos zur Verfügung. Im Erdgeschoss, sowie im Geschoss B2, finden Sie mehrere Selbstbedienungsautomaten. Hier können Sie unter anderem, Softdrinks, Kaffee, Snacks, Bier & Wein und Hygieneprodukte des täglichen Bedarfs erwerben.
Im Untergeschoss erwartet Sie täglich von 07:00 bis 10:00 unser frisch zubereitetes kontinentales Frühstück. Dazu zählen Klassiker wie Ham & Eggs, Gebäck, regionales Brot, Cerealien, frische Früchte und vieles mehr. Sollten Sie das Frühstück bei Ihrer Buchung nicht inkludiert haben können Sie dies jederzeit an der Rezeption gegen einen Aufpreis nachholen.

Thank you for choosing the Gartenhotel Altmannsdorf. We look forward to welcoming you and would like to give you a brief introduction to the hotel and what to expect. The Gartenhotel Altmannsdorf was reopened in 2022 after thorough renovation and, due to its well-connected location, counts both business travellers and city tourists among its guests.
We offer seven different types of rooms:

All rooms are equipped with an air condition, bathroom, toilet, satellite TV and hair dryer. In addition, various towels and hygiene products are available free of charge. On the ground floor and on floor 2B you will find several self-service machines. Here you can buy wine, soft drinks, coffee, snacks and everyday hygiene products among other things.
On the floor G, our freshly prepared continental breakfast awaits you daily form 7am to 10am. The breakfast includes Ham & eggs, pastries, regional bread and much more. If you have not included breakfast in your booking, you can do this at any time at the reception for an additional charge.

Unsere Geschichte
Das Gartenhotel Altmannsdorf wurde 1982 errichtet und grenzt direkt an das aus der Renaissance stammende Schloss Altmannsdorf, sowie dessen großzügigen Garten. Bis zum Verkauf im Jahr 2018 stand es (indirekt) im Eigentum der Sozialdemokratischen Partei Österreichs und wurde von dieser auch für diverse Feste und Veranstaltungen genutzt. Zwischen den Jahren 2019 und 2022 wurde das Gartenhotel Altmannsdorf aufwendig renoviert und modernisiert.

Our History
The Gartenhotel Altmannsdorf was built in 1982 and is directly connected to the Renaissance-style Altmannsdorf Castle and its spacious garden. Until it was sold in 2018, it was (indirectly) owned by the Austrian Social Democratic Party and was also used by them for various festivals and events. After the takeover, the current owner decided to help the outdated hotel regain its former glory with extensive renovation work and a newly designed concept.

Schloss Schönbrunn
Das Schloss Schönbrunn zählt mit ungefähr 4 Millionen Besuchern zu den meistbesuchten Sehenswürdigkeiten in Österreich. Es wurde im 17. Jahrhundert erbaut und diente als kaiserliche Sommerresidenz. Da das Areal sehr weitläufig ist und über diverse Nebengebäude verfügt, planen Sie für Ihren Besuch, je nach Interesse, einen halben bis ganzen Tag ein. Die U4 Station “Schönbrunn” liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Tiergarten Schönbrunn
Der Tiergarten Schönbrunn wurde im Jahr 1752 eröffnet und ist damit der älteste noch bestehende Zoo der Welt und Teil des UNESCO-Weltkulturerbes. Auf einer Fläche von 17 Hektar sind rund 7800 Tier aus 700 Arten zu sehen. Für einen Besuch planen Sie bis zu einem halben Tag ein. Die U4 Station “Hietzing” liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Innere Stadt und Stephansdom
Der 1. Bezirk Wiens, auch genannt “Innere Stadt”, stellt das historische Zentrum der Stadt dar und wird von der Ringstraße umgeben. Neben unzähligen Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befindet sich auch eines der Wahrzeichen von Wien, der Stephansdom, in der Inneren Stadt. Weitere historische Gebäude wie das Rathaus und die Hofburg sind ebenfalls dort zu finden. Die U1 Station “Stephansdom” liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Museumsquartier
Für Begeisterte der modernen Kunst ist das Museumsquartier im 7. Bezirk ein Pflichtbesuch. Früher noch als kaiserlicher Stall für Pferde genutzt zählt es heute zu den größten Kulturarealen der Welt. Neben innovativen Restaurants sind Museen mit unterschiedlichen Schwerpunkten zu finden. Die U2 Station “Museumsquartier”, sowie die U3 Station “Volkstheater” befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Albertina
Das Kunstmuseum Albertina zählt zu den meistbesuchten Sehenswürdigkeiten Wiens und beherbergt vier verschiedene Sammlungen: Grafische Sammlung, Fotosammlung, Gemäldesammlung, Architektursammlung. Zu Ihrem Bestand zählen unter anderem Bilder von Monet und Picasso. Die U1 Station “Karlsplatz” befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Schloss Belvedere
Das Schloss Belvedere stammt aus der Barockzeit und wurde von Prinz Eugen von Savoyen (1663- 1736) als Sommerresidenz genutzt. Das Gesamtkunstwerk besteht aus zwei Schlössern (Oberes und Unteres Belvedere) und beherbergt heute österreichische Kunst vom Mittelalter bis zur Gegenwart. Die ausgestellten Hauptwerke stammen unter anderem von Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele und Oskar Kokoschka. Die Straßenbahnstation “Schloss Belvedere” liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Schloss Schönbrunn
With around 4 million visitors, Schönbrunn Palace is one of the most visited sights in Austria. It was built in the 17th century and served as the imperial summer residence. Since the area is very spacious and has various outbuildings, plan half a day to a whole day for your visit, depending on your interests. The U4 metro station “Schönbrunn” is in the immediate vicinity.
Schönbrunn Zoo
Schönbrunn Zoo was opened in 1752, making it the oldest existing zoo in the world and part of the UNESCO World Heritage. Around 7800 animals from 700 species can be seen on an area of 17 hectares. Plan up to half a day for a visit. The U4 metro station “Hietzing” is in the immediate vicinity.
Innere Stadt and Stephansdom
The 1st district of Vienna, also called “Innere Stadt”, represents the historic center of the city and is surrounded by the Ringstrasse. In addition to countless restaurants and shops, one of Vienna’s landmarks, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, is also located in the inner city. Other historical buildings such as the town hall and the Hofburg can also be found there. The U1 metro station “Stephansdom” is in the immediate vicinity.
Museums Quartier
For fans of modern art, the Museums Quartier in the 7th district is a must-visit. Formerly used as an imperial stable for horses, it is now one of the largest cultural areas in the world. In addition to innovative restaurants, museums with different focuses can be found. The U2 station “Museumsquartier” and the U3 metro station “Volkstheater” are in the immediate vicinity.
Albertina
The Albertina Art Museum is one of the most visited sights in Vienna and houses four different collections: Graphic Collection, Photo Collection, Painting Collection, Architectural Collection. Your portfolio includes paintings by Monet and Picasso, among others. The U1 metro station “Karlsplatz” is in the immediate vicinity.
Schloss Belvedere
The Schloss Belvedere dates back to the Baroque period and was used as a summer residence by Prince Eugene of Savoy (1663-1736). The total work of art consists of two castles (Upper and Lower Belvedere) and today houses Austrian art from the Middle Ages to the present day. Freizeitangebote und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten
Prater
Der Wiener Prater ist ein 6km² umfassendes, öffentliches Areal im 2. Bezirk. Es umfasst neben einer weitläufigen Waldlandschaft, die zum Spazieren einlädt, auch den berühmten “Wurstelprater”. Dieser Teil ist ein Vergnügungspark, der über unzählige Fahrgeschäfte verfügt. Bekannt ist er vor allem für das Riesenrad, welches ein Wahrzeichen der Stadt Wien darstellt. Die U1/U2 Station “Praterstern” befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Heuriger
Heuriger bezeichnet in Österreich eine Lokalität, in der nur Wein ausgeschenkt wird. Diese haben eine lange Tradition, die sich jedoch in den letzten Jahren weiterentwickelt hat. Heutzutage ist es üblich, dass auch warme und kalte Mahlzeiten ausgeben werden, häufig in Form eines Buffets. Heuriger in Wien finden Sie unter anderem im 23. Bezirk in Mauer und im 19. Bezirk in Grinzing.
Alte Donau und Donauinsel
Die Donau ist der zweitlängste und zweitgrößte Fluss in Europa. Zwischen 1972 und 1988 wurde inmitten der Donau in Wien die 21km lange und 250m breite Donauinsel errichtet. Sie wird von vielen Wienern als Freizeitfläche genutzt und bietet unzählige Wiesen, Radwege und Wasserzugänge an der neuen Donau an. Die Alte Donau hingegen ist ein ehemaliger Teil der Donau, ist jedoch mit dieser nicht mehr direkt verbunden. Im Sommer ist sie ein beliebter Badeort für Wiener. Die U1 Stationen “Alte Donau” und “Donauinsel” befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Shopping City Süd
Die Shopping City Süd ist eines der größten Einkaufszentren Europas und befindet sich knapp außerhalb von Wien. Es befinden sich über 350 Shops auf einer Verkaufsfläche von 292.500m². Die Badner Bahn Station “SCS – Shopping City Süd” befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Mariahilfer Straße
Die Mariahilfer Straße ist die größte und bekannteste Einkaufsstraße in Wien und bildet die Grenze zwischen 6. und 7. Bezirk. Besonders nachmittags und an Samstagen ist sie sehr gut gefüllt. Wenn Sie Einkaufen in Ruhe bevorzugen, empfiehlt sich ein Besuch vormittags. Die U3 Stationen “Neubaugasse” und “Zieglergasse” befinden sich direkt an der Mariahilfer Straße.
Kärtner Straße
Die Kärtner Straße befindet sich im 1. Bezirk und verläuft vom Karlsplatz bis zum Stephansplatz. Bekannt ist sie vor allem für gehobenere Geschäfte und Souvenirläden für Touristen. Auch hier empfiehlt sich ein Besuch zur früheren Stunde. Die U1 Stationen “Stephansdom” und “Karlsplatz” liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Leisure offers and Shopping
Prater
The Vienna Prater is a 6km² public area in the 2nd district. In addition to an extensive forest landscape that invites you to go for a walk, it also includes the famous “Wurstelprater”. This part is an amusement park that has countless rides. It is best known for the Ferris wheel, which is a landmark of the city of Vienna. The U1/U2 station “Praterstern” is in the immediate vicinity.
Heuriger
In Austria, Heuriger refers to a locality where only wine is served. These have a long tradition, which has, however, developed further in recent years. Nowadays it is common for hot and cold meals to be served as well, often in the form of a buffet. You will find Heuriger in Vienna in the 23rd district in Mauer and in the 19th district in Grinzing.
Old Danube and Danube Island
The Danube is the second longest and second largest river in Europe. Between 1972 and 1988 the 21 km long and 250 m wide Danube Island was built in the middle of the Danube in Vienna. It is used by many Viennese as a leisure area and offers countless meadows, cycle paths and water access to the new Danube. The Alte Donau, on the other hand, is a former part of the Danube, but is no longer directly connected to it. In summer it is a popular bathing spot for the Viennese. The U1 stations “Alte Donau” and “Donauinsel” are in the immediate vicinity.
Shopping City South
The Shopping City Süd is one of the largest shopping centers in Europe and is located just outside of Vienna. There are over 350 shops on a sales area of 292,500m². The Badner Bahn station “SCS – Shopping City Süd” is in the immediate vicinity.
Mariahilfer Strasse
Mariahilfer Strasse is the largest and most famous shopping street in Vienna and forms the border between the 6th and 7th districts. It is very crowded, especially in the afternoons and on Saturdays. If you prefer to shop in peace, a visit in the morning is recommended. The U3 stations “Neubaugasse” and “Zieglergasse” are located directly on Mariahilfer Straße.
Kartner Street
Kärtner Strasse is located in the 1st district and runs from Karlsplatz to Stephansplatz. It is best known for upmarket shops and tourist souvenir shops. A visit in the early hours is also recommended here. The U1 stations “Stephansdom” and “Karlsplatz” are in the immediate vicinity.
Öffentlicher Verkehr (Wiener Linien) und Fahrtendienste
Die Stadt Wien verfügt über eines der dichtesten und modernsten ÖPNV-Netze weltweit. Derzeit verfügt es über 5 U-Bahnlinien, 28 Straßenbahnlinien und 129 Buslinien. Die Tageslinien verkehren zwischen 05:00 und 00:30. In den Nächten vor Samstag, Sonntag und Feiertagen fahren alle U-Bahnlinien durchgehend. Die Wiener Linien bieten preiswerte 24, 48 oder 72 Stunden Tickets an, die bei jeder U-Bahnstation erhältlich sind.

Fahrtendienste wie Taxi, Uber und Bolt sind auch in Wien vorhanden. Die Preiseunterschiede der Anbieter sind hierbei gering. Grundsätzlich ist bei Taxis zu beachten, dass der Taxameter eingeschalten ist – dies ist rechtlich vorgeschrieben.
Public Transport (Wiener Linien) and driving services
The city of Vienna has one of the densest and most modern public transport networks in the world. Currently it has 5 metro lines, 28 tram lines and 129 bus lines. Daily lines run between 05:00 and 00:30. In the nights before Saturday, Sunday and public holidays, all subway lines run continuously. The Wiener Linien offer inexpensive 24, 48 or 72 hour tickets, which are available at every subway station.
Metro Sign Vienna
Ride services such as Taxi, Uber and Bolt are also available in Vienna. The price differences between the providers are small. Basically, when taking a taxi, make sure that the taximeter is switched on – this is required by law.
Unsere Hausregeln
um Ihren Aufenthalt im Gartenhotel Altmannsdorf so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten, bitten wir Sie, die nachfolgende Hausordnung durchzulesen und an alle Mitreisenden weiterzugeben. Bitte beachten Sie, dass ferner die Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen (AGB) des Gartenhotel Altmannsdorf Gültigkeit haben.
- Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels sind zwecks Einhaltung der öffentlichen Ordnung sowie der Hausordnung grundsätzlich jedem Gast zum Hausverbot weisungsberechtigt.
- Im Treppenhaus, Korridor, Frühstücksraum, Sanitärbereiche und den Hotelzimmern ist offenes Feuer, Rauchen und Kerzen anzünden nicht erlaubt. Bei einem Verstoß berechnen wir eine Pauschale von 250,00 €. und ggf. Hausverbot.
- Hotelräume und deren Ausstattung, sowie anderes Hoteleigentum ist nicht zu beschädigen.
- Wir bitten Sie, Beanstandungen am Zimmer oder durch andere im Haus befindliche Gäste hervorgerufene Unannehmlichkeiten sofort an der Rezeption zu melden.
- Wir müssen Sie darauf hinweisen, dass ein durch Sie verursachter Schaden dem Hotel zu ersetzen ist und Ihnen in Rechnung gestellt wird.
- Frühstückszeiten:

Samstag, Sonntag und an Feiertagen von 07.00 bis 11.00 Uhr. - Check-In ab 15.00 Uhr / Check-Out bis 11.00 Uhr
- Beim Verlassen des Hotels bitte die Zimmertür zuziehen. Zudem bitten wir Sie, beim Check-Out den Zimmerkarte an der Rezeption abzugeben.
- Aus Sicherheitsgründen ist es nicht erlaubt, sich aus den Fenstern zu lehnen – sie dürfen lediglich zum Lüften geöffnet werden. Das Fensterbrett darf nicht als Sitzgelegenheit genutzt werden und es darf nichts aus den Fenstern geworfen oder gerufen werden.
- Unser Feueralarm ist ein lauter Signalton. Wenn dieser ertönt, ist es nicht mehr erlaubt, sich auf die Zimmer zu begeben und das Hotel ist auf dem schnellsten Wege über die ausgeschilderten Fluchtwege zu verlassen. In diesem Fall dürfen nur die Treppen und Nottreppenanlagen benutzt werden, auf keinen Fall dürfen Sie die Fahrstühle nutzen. Notausgänge sind entsprechend gekennzeichnet. Sämtliche Fluchtpläne hängen an der Rezeption und an den Zimmertüren sowie auf den entsprechenden Korridoren aus. Der Notfallfluchttreffpunkt ist je nach Situation vor oder hinter unserem Gebäude.
- Nicht im Hotel gebuchten Personen ist der Zutritt zu den Zimmern nur nach vorheriger Anmeldung an der Rezeption gestattet. Das Hotel und deren Mitarbeiter kann den Zutritt im Einzelfall verwehren.
- Bei der Nutzung des für den Gast kostenfreien W-LAN (sofern verfügbar) sind die Bestimmungen des Datenschutzes, des Kinder- und Jugendschutzes einzuhalten. Verstöße sind anzeigepflichtig.
- Das Mitbringen illegaler Rauschmittel sowie Waffen ist strengstens untersagt und führt zum sofortigen Hausverbot. In diesem Falle werden ebenso die zuständigen Behörden über diesen Umstand benachrichtigt.
- Haustiere sind nicht gestattet.
- Ab 22.00 Uhr gilt auf allen Zimmern, Fluren und auf dem Außengelände die Nachtruhe. Jeglicher Lärm ist zu vermeiden. Die Nichtbeachtung der Nachtruhe kann zum sofortigen Hausverweis führen. Das Hotel erwartet einen respektvollen Umgang mit anderen Gästen, Anwohnern und dem Personal.
- Die Verwendung von mitgebrachten elektrischen Geräten wie z.B. Wasserkocher, Kochplatten, Musikanlagen oder ähnlichem ist nicht gestattet. Zuwiderhandlungen und daraus resultierenden Schäden im Zimmer werden dem Gast in voller Höhe in Rechnung gestellt.
- Im Fall eines Brandes bitten wir Sie, sich an dem Evakuierungsplan, der sich an der Innenseite Ihrer Zimmertür befindet, zu orientieren.
- Das Hotel übernimmt bei Verlust von Wertsachen (insbesondere von Schmuck, Bargeld, Laptop, Handy) ausdrücklich keine Haftung.
- Besuchern ist der Zutritt zu den Zimmern nur nach vorheriger Anmeldung an der Rezeption gestattet. Das Personal kann den Zutritt im Einzelfall verwehren.
- Wir behalten uns das Recht vor, den bestehenden Vertrag aufzulösen und denjenigen Gästen Dienstleistungen zu unterbinden, falls durch sie die Hausordnung missachtet wird und durch das Verhalten des Gastes dem Hotel oder anderem Gästen Schaden zugefügt wird.
- Grobe Verstöße gegen die Hausordnung, die Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen sowie die Missachtung von Anweisungen durch das Personal führen zum Hausverweis. Eine Rückerstattung für bereits bezahlte Leistungen ist ausgeschlossen.

Our house rules
To make your stay at the Gartenhotel Altmannsdorf as pleasant as possible, we ask you to read the following house rules and pass them on to all fellow travellers. Please note that the General Terms and Conditions (AGB) of the Gartenhotel Altmannsdorf also apply.
- To comply with public order and the house rules, the hotel employees are entitled to instruct every guest to be banned from the house.
- Open fires, smoking and lighting candles are not permitted in the stairwell, corridor, breakfast room, sanitary areas and hotel rooms. In the event of a violation, we charge a flat rate of €250.00. A house ban is possible as well.
- Hotel rooms and their equipment, as well as other hotel property is not to be damaged.
- We ask you to report any complaints about the room or any inconveniences caused by other guests in the house immediately at the reception.
- We must point out that any damage caused by you is to be compensated to the hotel and you will be charged for it.
- Breakfast times: Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 10.00 a.m., Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Check-in from 3 p.m. / check-out by 11 a.m.
- When leaving the hotel, please close the room door. We also ask you to hand in your room card to reception when you check out.
- For safety reasons, it is not permitted to lean out of the windows – they may only be opened for ventilation. The windowsill may not be used as a seat, and nothing may be thrown or shouted out of the windows.
- Our fire alarm is a loud beep. When this sounds, it is no longer permitted to go to the room and the hotel must be left as quickly as possible using the signposted escape routes. In this case, only the stairs and emergency stairways may be used. The use of the elevator is forbidden. Emergency exits are marked accordingly. All escape plans are posted at the reception and on the room doors as well as in the corresponding corridors. The emergency evacuation meeting point is in front of or behind our building, depending on the situation.
- Persons not booked in the hotel are only permitted access to the rooms after prior registration at the reception. The hotel and its employees can refuse access in individual cases.
- When using the WLAN free of charge for the guest (if available), the provisions of data protection and the protection of children and young people must be observed. Violations must be reported.
- Bringing illegal intoxicants and weapons is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate banning. In this case, the responsible authorities will also be informed of this fact.
- From 10:00 p.m. the night’s rest applies in all rooms, corridors and on the outside area. Any noise should be avoided. Failure to observe the night’s rest can lead to immediate eviction from the house. The hotel expects respectful interaction with other guests, residents, and staff.
- The use of electrical devices brought along, such as kettles, hotplates, music systems or similar, is not permitted. Violations and the resulting damage in the room will be charged to the guest in full.
- In the event of a fire, we ask that you refer to the evacuation plan that is on the inside of your room door.
- The hotel expressly accepts no liability for the loss of valuables (especially jewellery, cash, laptops, mobile phones).
- Visitors are only allowed to enter the rooms after prior registration at the reception. The staff can refuse access in individual cases.
- We reserve the right to dissolve the existing contract and to stop services from those guests if they disregard the house rules and the behaviour of the guest causes damage to the hotel or other guests.
- Gross violations of the house rules, the general terms and conditions and the disregard of instructions by the staff will result in expulsion from the house. A refund for already paid services is excluded.
